Jordan and Hillary’s wedding did not go according to plan due to sever thunderstorms, but you would have never known it being near them. The day of their wedding was super stormy and the plans of our first look were moved from a park in Charleston to their venue which had a covered porch in case of a down pour. Their ceremony was first moved from outside to the porch of the venue and then inside due to strong winds and it literally raining sideways, but again you wouldn’t have known it by being near them. Jordan and Hillary were so calm on their big day and didn’t let the weather stop them from committing their lives to one another in front of 100+ friends and family that had traveled to Charleston, SC from all over the US to see them say “I do.” You could feel the love that these two had for each other and how much they truly cared for one another throughout the whole day. They were able to have their first look outside overlooking the water and then they read their vows to each other while both their mothers watched, which honestly, was the sweetest thing ever. I don’t think their was a dry eye during that private vow reading, including me. Their ceremony being moved inside was still absolutely breathtaking. They had their guests sit at their assigned tables and close family seated just inches from them. They said I do in front of a beautiful mantle, with greenery and candles, it truly was so romantic as you could see the storms just outside the windows. The two had a choreographed first dance that was so epic and they both had first dances with their mothers, who are obviously very special to them. The storms broke long enough for them to still have cocktail hour on the porch and the reception was when the real party started. There was amazing food, a donut bar and so much dancing, it seriously was one of the funnest receptions I have ever photographed. They ended the evening with singing Sweet Caroline together and a beautiful sparkler exit and their party continued with their guests at a pub just down the street. It was an amazing wedding, storms couldn’t rain on their parade or wedding in this case. The true love these two have for each other is so inspiring and I wish them a life of happiness and pure bliss. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Williams for allowing me and Elijah, who was my second shooter for the day, to capture your gorgeous wedding day!
